The Role

1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

I came into this role not really knowing what to expect. I have been astounded by the amount of real responsibility given to us as interns. The work is interesting, challenging and beneficial to career development. Getting up for work in the morning is not a chore as each day brings with is new and exciting opportunities.

2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

As an intern, it's easy to feel like your opinions don't matter. However, this couldn't be further from the truth. Your opinions are considered extremely valuable and carry a lot of weight in the office. This allows you to feel confident in the office and progress without feeling anxious. Everyone is also really nice and the social scene is quality.

3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

I couldn't have asked for a nicer manager. There is never a stupid question and the patience they showed was beyond belief. They credit your work to their supervisors which makes you feel really valued as an employee.

4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

The workload was challenging but it allows you to develop organisation and time management. It's actually quite a nice feeling to come into work and have your own set of tasks without having to bug your manager for work

5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

The real responsibility is phenomenal. I come in in the morning and have a set of tasks specific to me that I can crack on with. I don't have to bug my manager for extra work. The work itself is challenging and the credit you get from management is very rewarding

6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

Doing a placement has developed me not only on a professional level but on a personal level as well. I feel far more confident and

7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

Very friendly. Everyone was extremely approachable and patient. You get a sense that they want the best for you in the future. I believe I have made some friends for life

8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

Extremely organised. I joined and had a clear and well thought out hand over which meant that i settled fast and could crack on.

9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

They invested the time and training that have provided me with transferable skills for life. I now have knowledge and skills on certain pieces of software etc that will give me so much to talk about in job interviews in the future

Absolutely amazing social scene. Whether it was work drinks or 5-a-side football, there was always something to do.

13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

Being London, you have to be savvy with your money. However it is very doable if you're sensible and you will never feel like you're missing out

Awesome nightlife. Bit too good maybe...

I joined various football teams, but there was also the potential for many more activities.
