  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I did enjoy my internship, I learnt a lot quickly and feel a lot more confidant in a professional environment.

    • I had an excellent team at my branch who I can honestly say made me feel valued everyday.

    • I was given weekly performance meetings and montly reviews which helped focus my aims and make targets during the internship.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?

    • Some branches are busier than others but I would enver say you would be bored, there is always something to do.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?

    • I was given plently of responsibility as everyone really has to pull together as a team to run the branch together and I had my own tasks which I was soley accountable for.

    • I have learnt valuable skills at Enterprise which I will use during my studies and develop throughout my career

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • There was a good atmosphere between employees and I think this shone with customers aswell.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?

    • The internship was very clearly set up and provided full training before work started, furthermore there was more dedicated internship training which was helpful.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • Enterprise does invest time in their staff with lots of training days and weekly performance meetings to help all staff with training and devleopment no matter what their level within the company.

    • I have already accepted a part time internship with the company which I will continue during university.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • With interns working all over scotland and Ireland it was hard to meet up but we did all manage to get together for intern training and bbq at the end of the summer.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • The area was out of town and quite cheap.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • The area I worked was a 5minute train journey to the city centre so the nightlift tended to get better in the city centre.

    • Enterprise sponsors any charity event you may want to get involved in.
