  • Two very different projects, challenging work.

  • Very close, lots of good feedback and relationships built on trust.

  • Supported all the way through the placement, help was always available.

  • It varied from overly busy to very quiet.

  • Produced slides for use in board packs/presentations.

  • Hugely, gave context for everything I am learning at university.

  • Lots of events outside of work, fantastic environment.

  • Very well facilitated, lots of opportunities for self improvement and expanding your network. Lots of choice to move around within the company.

  • Intensive training week, lots of social events and dedicated staff.

  • There was a strong focus on receiving an offer, they even had a session dedicated to show us how to behave/approach the partner interview at the end of our placement.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Drinks every evening if you wanted and lots of organised (and funded) events too.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • It was the city so quite expensive but there were lots of deals and good value places if you looked for them.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • We were within a short journey of all the major areas for socialising, including Soho and Brick Lane.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Lots of social events and if I were to work there the number of sports opportunities was also very high.
