The Role
Very good company to gain insight and exposure on how a successful business is run day to day and really get you involved in helping the business be a success.
Management love to celebrate your personal and team success and really make sure its known that they appreciate what you do and have done for the branch and company.
Management were very good at making you guiding you to achieve what you desire, whether that be a promotion or hitting elite, which makes your own goals more achievable and realistic.
It is a very fast pace environment working in the rental branches, so you have to be able to manage your time effectively and appropriately.
You are given delegated duties and made the captain of a certain department, whether it be sales or service, to which you are then held accountable for, allowing you to really drive your department to success whether that be through delivering morning meetings or creating competitions etc.
I have gained a very long list of new and fresh skills that I can carry forth into my final year of university and also into my future career.
The Company
Very fun atmosphere, all the branch got on very well and had a good time; but we also knew when to get the work done and when to have fun which is definitely required in this business.; but on the whole the fun atmosphere made going to work day to day enjoyable.
Everything is made very clear when applying for the job, going through the recruitment stage and receiving the job. I was made fully aware of the entire process of my internship from the start and through out.
We attended a weeks training session at the start of the placement and then continued to have several training sessions through out the placement which were relevant to the stage we were at in our placement.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
The company were very keen to offer an extension of employment once the contract for my placement had expired and also mentioned the possibility of becoming a campus brand manager whilst in my final year of university. Definitely a lot of opportunities in terms of a future with the company.
The Culture
They hosted several internship events and welcomed everyone to them which was a really good idea and very beneficial.
Due to Enterprise having many branches across the UK, I was able to work within my home area so could live at home for the duration of my placement and only had a small commute to work which definitely made it much more affordable.
Home town so was very familiar with the nightlife prior to my placement commencing.
Yes plenty of opportunities you just have to be proactive in seeking them and managing them with your work life.
