The Role
Friendly and helpful employees with a relaxed and collaborative work environment. Enjoyed the variety in day to day routines and the challenging work.
Was delegated responsibility early on in the internship and was trusted to do a competent job.
Had little visibility of my line manager due to the set up of the projects. The line manager was very supportive and offered constructive feedback where appropriate.
Initially, the workload was quite easy going due to the progress of the project. Since the start of Jan 17, the workload has dramatically increased but is still manageable
Delegated responsibility fairly early on and felt that I was trusted to do a good job. I also had the opportunity to network with the client on a frequent basis.
I expected more courses and training course to be offered. The training is more tailored to what discipline and industry you are placed in. The placement has developed my skills and will assist with my studies.
The Company
Relaxed and friendly.
Once I was site based at a purpose built office, the internship felt more organised.
I was placed on an entry level training course for a week to gain an appreciation to the industry I was about to work in. It helped a great deal and there are further training opportunities in the pipeline.
