The Role
I really enjoyed my placement with Hays, I learnt a lot and gained a lot of knowledge and confidence.
I felt very valued by my colleagues, they treated me exactly the same and as if I was a full time employee at Hays
I was given support by my management and supervisors. I always felt as though I could ask questions and they'd always give me their time and attention.
Very busy most days - I had a lot of responsibility and was never short of things to cover.
I was given the same amount of responsibility as a full time employee, but my manager always asked if it was the right amount and checked if I was struggling with the amounts of responsibility.
They didn't assist with my degree as I study Sports. However, the skills assisted me further in terms of confidence and communication.
The Company
Very fun but also everyone gets on with their own workload, a good balance.
well organised, structured on the job training and also training days.
The firm really invested in me, they gave me the same training as a full time employee.
Very appealing, now I know the job and realise I am capable of it.
The Culture
Yes very good
slightly more expensive as I chose to live in the City Centre but as it was only 12 months, this wasn't too difficult.
Good
Yes, the right amount.
