The Role
Fantastic support. They gave me a lot of responsibilty, more than most places would give an intern.
Felt appreciated.
There was always someone there to talk to if I needed it. I had to use my initiative of what to do each day, but if I ever got stuck there was always someone there to guide me in the right direction.
The closer to coffee morning, the busier it got!
Had to come up with my own ideas, took responsibility for volunteers.
This will be great on my CV. Definitly skills that will be used in any future job I have.
The Company
Always something crazy and exciting going on.
Very organised. A great experience. Intro days and wrap up days.
They provided fantastic training, and not only that but they recognised that due to living in a rural area I would have to home work from time to time and provided all the necessary equipment for this.
Flexi Time
Working from home
Unlikely at the moment, but I will apply when a job does come up with them.
The Culture
When everyone met at the intro day it was good. Other than that there really wasn't much chance to meet the other interns as we were all placed in different locations around the country.
Pricey! However this shouldnt reflect upon Macmillan as I chose to do it where I live, there were other locations which would be cheaper.
Again not Macmillans fault.
Not really.
