The Role
I loved my work placement, I learnt so much and was treated so kindly by everyone at the company.
Everyone gave me good work to do and allowed me to take on challenges to learn more about the industry
Sometimes I felt that everyone was too busy to answer questions but when I asked everyone was patient and took the time to help me
There was days when I didn't have a lot of work to do but I only had to ask and I was given new tasks to complete
This varied depending on the work load for the rest of the staff
I have not yet restarted my degree but I know that the skills I have gained will be beneficial
The Company
It was a laid back and friendly environment
I didn't feel my placement was particularly organised but that was more from the side of my university and that the company didn't take a lot of interns
They gave me more responsibility and training and allowed me to attend training sessions and presentations
Company Parties/Events
I would be very happy to work there after I graduate
The Culture
Yes the staff were very social with each other
I stayed with family so rent was low but leisure and travel were sometimes expensive
I didn't try it
Yes there were frequent socials and lunches
