The Role
Hard work, but great team, a little frustrating due to stop-start nature of work.
Much more so by the end of the internship.
My line manager was second to none in terms of honesty and support.
Often had nothing to fill my time with, but when I was busy, it was good fun.
Full responsibility on my own tasks, but how important or relevant they were, I'm not sure.
It's great to have a better understanding of the banking industry.
The Company
Interesting people, always chatting and discussing things.
Pretty well, although communication between HR and line manager not great.
I felt like I was taking up a lot of my team's time, but they didn't seem to mind.
Company Parties/Events
I'm starting the Grad Scheme in September.
The Culture
Some of the evening events were a good chance to meet people and make friends.
Some bars had great happy hour deals, but lunch was VERY expensive.
Pretty good during the week.
I think there were some, but not well advertised.
