The Role
The schedule for us interns was full with training, interesting talks from key persons in the bank, financial training
My colleagues paid attention when I had something to ask them and showed confidense in my skills
My manager was always available when I needed him, we held weekly meetings and always provided me with advice and good suggestions
I was working on a project during my placement so I had work to do everyday, however there were days that I did not have much to do
I was working on a project on my own so the project was entirely up to me whether it would work or not
I gained experience in certain technologies that will surely help in mu further studies
The Company
Everybody had work to do in daily basis, meetings, phone meetings... However you could chat a bit so it doesnt get dull
It had a lot of events with most of them concerning the bank but also events outside the scope of banking which was pleasant
There are courses you could sign up for free of your own selection but also there was the schedule with training events that all interns had to follow
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
I received an offer for the graduate program
The Culture
There were events with all of the interns getting involved regularly which helped in networking
London is rather expensive in general
Nightlife in London is good
After work hours I had time to do other activities as well
