  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Completely exceeded expectations which were already high.

  • Felt very valued, treated like a qualified member of the team and given actual client work.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • I was always told to ask if I needed help, any issues I had were resolved and never a problem to those in the department.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Department made sure I was involved in as much client work as possible so never left twiddling my thumbs at all during my placement.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Obviously as a student there where limitations but I have to admit I was given more responsibility than I thought I would ever get given...brilliant!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I feel more confident as a person due to the activities I undertook, and the responsibilty I was given. The placement made me realise how much I want to work for KPMG.

  • Professional, but down to earth and a good laugh.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Fantastic, was never left with nothing to do, and everyone was very excepting. I was given a mentor and line manager to oversee my placement.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Spend 4 days training at business school, and constantly offered on the job training throughout.

  • Final partner interview in store so hopefully...

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes, everyone was very accomodating and wanting to have a good time.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Manchesters not to expensive as long as you prepare and save a little in advance, especially if you need accomodation.

  • Great!!

  • 5 a-side football every week.
