    4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • Though at times I felt more like a distraction to my trainee, the work I was given was interesting and useful for her

    5/5

  • My trainee was in meetings a lot due to the timing of the scheme but when she was around she was very helpful

    4/5

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I learnt more about the firm and their application process which will be useful for re-applying to other schemes, and possibly even in the wider context of more general applications.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Useful workshops followed by time in the office, interspersed with fun and helpful networking events

    5/5

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • The group of participants were all friendly and the members of the firm very helpful and approachable

    5/5

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The training was only personal for about an hour, but it was not a very useful workshop. They tried, though in such a short time it was always going to be difficult for them

    3/5

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?
  • We had exposure to real work, though due to the nature of my trainee's work at the time it was only research

    5/5

  • 9. How much did the insight help you in understanding the company culture?
  • There was a theme of happiness throughout the office - it was acknowledged the firm took care over their employees. There was also significant pride in the work the firm does which came across when talking to partners and associates

    4/5

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?
  • It was too short to make a proper decision, but it has encouraged me slightly

    4/5

    Everything Else

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?
  • Well looked after, not paying for any meals too

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?
  • An event each evening and a lunch over the two days for the purpose of networking with ourselves and the firm's trainees and recruitment team

    5/5

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?
  • Very enjoyable - the lunch with an associate was particularly interesting too

    5/5

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?
  • Life at the firm was not really discussed

    1/5

  • 15. Would you recommend this insight to a friend?
  • A very interesting and enjoyable two days. I would not discourage though it is too short if the aim is to work out if law if is the right career. It is good however for finding out about the firm
