The Role
I enjoyed taking part in all the intern development opportunities at CRUK.
I didn't feel fully part of the team.
When I asked for guidance, my manager was able to give me guidance.
Some parts of my internship were really busy, and other times there wasn't much to do.
I was given general tasks to do, but feel like I could have been given more responsibility
I feel like the skills I gained here will benefit me for the future.
The Company
People were really friendly with each other, and the atmosphere relaxed most of the time.
I was given work to do straightaway, however after 3 or 4 weeks, my team had not planned anything for me to do.
There were a lot of personal development opportunities, and a volunteer coordinator who organised of training opportunities for us.
As I would like to work in something more specialized, I'm not applying for jobs here.
The Culture
The interns would go drinking every Thursday and go for lunch together everyday.
There were a few opportunities to get involved in volunteering outside of work.
