The Role
The office being a fun place with an open culture and my colleagues putting their complete trust into me has made my placement an unforgettable experience.
I have felt as a valued employee since day one and treated as an equal part of the team, not as an intern.
Lumesse promotes quite an open culture where you sit close (or even on the same desk) with your manager - meaning that you can get instant feedback and assistance.
There is a healthy moderation between busy and more relaxed days - however, there is always something to do and that gives you the opportunity to take the initiative.
Since day one, I was given full responsibility for my role, giving me the opportunity to own projects from start to finish.
Developing skills like working under pressure, meeting deadlines, communicating with multiple departments across many different countries, I developed invaluable skills which will help me in my future career.
The Company
Relaxed - everyone is open to communicate, playing games during lunch time or having coffee brakes together. From general chat to serious topics - if you need to relax a bit after completing a tight deadline, there is always someone there to assist.
Lumesse offered a seamless onboarding process where I felt welcomed and part of the team since day one.
I have had multiple opportunities to take part on both external and internal training sessions in my filed of interest, further developing my skills and developing skills which are going to aid me in my professional life.

Having experience Lumesse and considering that the company has offices in multiple locations, a future employment within the organisation is definitely something to be considered.
The Culture
Lumesse employed 10 student based in different departments, however, in the same office, and has always promoted and given us the opportunity to collaborate and have fun together, be it at or outside the work place.
Affordable rent and plenty of good places within reach.
In the area I worked in, the Nightlife wasn't great - however, there are many places which offer that and are only 10 minutes away by cab.
Multiple opportunities on a weekly basis - from social events, team night outs and charitable activities, there is always something to be doing.
