  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I found the whole process very helpful and transparent - everybody I spoke to seemed to genuinely want to help me in the application process and was very welcoming. Each task/talk we had served a clear purpose and all the staff were very approachable.

    • All questions were answered and everybody was willing to spend time giving a real insight into the firm.

    • The day had a clear timetable and at each point they provided chances to ask any questions.

    • We gained a lot of valuable advice on the application process for their vacation schemes and training contracts.

    • We had a clear timetable and stuck to it, with a variety of activities through the day

    • Everybody from trainees to partners were very friendly and approachable and seemed genuinely pleased we had come to the day

  • 7. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?

    • We were provided with lots of information which is sure to help us in the process, and a practical business task also gave us a chance to practice skills which are expected of us in assessment days.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • Within the small time frame of a day, we did get to speak to trainees and talk about what a full time role would be like, but as to be expected it is difficult to get a full understanding from one day at a firm.

    • The culture and values of the firm were a key part of the insight day and were considered through everything we did.

    • This day has strengthened my intention to apply for this firm.

    • We had lunch and drinks with the trainees.

    • No but again this is something that is more difficult to achieve with just one day of experience
