The insight day was very enjoyable: talking to trainees and hearing from partners was both interesting and useful for applications, and they made everyone feel very welcome.

Everyone working at the firm went out of their way to be helpful and friendly and during the day we were treated as if we were highly valued employees.

At each stage of the day I felt like I was receiving excellent support, and it was always made clear what was happening at each time during the day. During the commercial awareness game we were assigned a trainee to help guide us in the task, and there was always someone who worked at the firm who was willing to engage in conversation.

I believe that the insight day has given me a feel for what the real assessment day for vacation schemes/training contracts might be like. Having seen this I now feel more at ease with what might take place which will undoubtedly help me to perform better at any assessment day.

The insight day had a clear and well defined structure and we were provided with a timetable. The day was split into three main events: presentations from partners and graduate recruitment to hear more about the firm, talking to current employees to learn about their experiences at Taylor Wessing, and finally a commercial awareness business game to provide an insight into the group-assignments that take place at assessment centres.

Due to the friendliness and enthusiasm at Taylor Wessing it was easy to get on with those working there and also to get to know the other people attending the insight day. This really helped to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day. Furthermore, the offices were amazing and looking out across the city from the balcony at the end of the day was a great way to finish.

Not only did they give us advice for admissions but they planned a commercial awareness task for us to help us understand what is expected for group assessments at the interview and assessment day

I feel that I learnt a lot about the atmosphere at Taylor Wessing given that I was only there for one day, and hearing from current trainees reassured me that life here is very enjoyable and rewarding, without too many late nights!

I believe that I got a good picture of the firm's culture and the friendly atmosphere created by having a small trainee intake. There are abundant opportunities to ask as many questions as you want to find out about the culture at Taylor Wessing, and I felt that everyone I spoke to answered me honestly.

I was already set on a career in Law before attending, but having been to Taylor Wessing I am now certain that a job here would be a great fit for me.

Yes, there were many opportunities throughout the day. I spoke to both partners and trainees at the firm as well as the graduate recruitment team.

It was easy to get along with other people at the insight programme and there was a networking drinks held at the end of the day.

Many of the trainees were enthusiastic about what they were able to do outside of work, as well as the social opportunities with other employees, with the Christmas party gaining critical acclaim.

I would definitely recommend to a friend who is interested in Law or Taylor Wessing in particular, as I think it will prove to be a huge advantage for my application to the firm.
