    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • 4/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Got on great as a team, I was welcomed from the very first day and told I would be missed once i'd gone!

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • 4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • It varied- some days were stupidly hectic and other days were quiet. But there was a good balance generally to get all the tasks done etc.

    3/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was doing the same as the assistant manager pretty much- my colleagues had great respect for me and so trusted me with many things.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • 4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was very relaxed and easy to work in.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • It was fairly well organised; some weeks better than others.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • The first two days we were at Head Office and we were looked after very well; taken out for lunch and dinner, as well as being out up in a hotel. However I would have liked some travel reimbursements for the assessment centre/ interview as I travelled there a fair few times.

    4/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Company Car

    Company Parties/Events

    3/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • I would have no problem returning to Enterprise, however I don't have any desire to stay in the Midlands and to work in a local branch; I would be more interested in a post that was London based/ European based.

    4/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We all went out a couple of times during the 12 weeks.

    4/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • I lived at home with my parents, so there wasn't really a cost from that side of things. However I wouldn't have liked a longer commute as fuel prices are now becoming horrendous!

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Wolverhampton doesn't particularly leave much to be desired! But it wasn't about the local nightlife.

    2/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Yes of course!

    4/5
