The Role
I absolutely loved working at ASOS. It was better than I could have ever imagined and I would recommend it to anyone thinking of applying.
The team I worked in was amazing and everyone made a point of showing their appreciation for the work I did. I never once felt like 'just an intern' instead I felt like a valued member of the team.
Being the first L&D Intern I was given the scope to define my own role and responsibilities which allowed me to take on huge amounts of responsibilities and I got variety in my role. If i had any questions then there was always support from my colleagues.
There is always something to do at ASOS!
ASOS allowed me to take on huge responsibilities and variety in my role, the longer I was there the more responsibilities I got to take on and my opinion was always valued. I even got the opportunity to work alongside the People Director on a company wide culture checkpoint challenge.
Unfortunately the internship programme wasn't fully developed during my time at ASOS so I wasn't able to take full advantage of the training. However the skills learned from my daily role gave me hands on experience that I can apply to my degree and in my career beyond graduation.
The Company
There are so many people in head office and there is always a buzz in the office. You can tell that everyone who works in the office genuinely loves working at ASOS. Plus it’s always someone’s birthday so you're guaranteed cake every day of the year!

The Culture
Whether you want to go out for something to eat or just go for a casual drink after work then you can. Camden has a good variety of bars and there is always something going on and if you don't want to hang out in Camden then you're only a few stops away from Central London.
There will always be a group of people in your team that are doing something after work and they're always up for people joining in.
