    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Really friendly and welcoming. Everyone worked hard, but there were also lots of social opportunities

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • I interned in Bristol and was lucky as I got to move around different teams so really got an overview of the different roles. Also liked that throughout my internship I was working on a presentation that I gave to the whol office at the end of the internship, as felt like I had my own project to showcase what I'd learnt over the internship and was good as I could always get on with that if I wasn't busy

    5/5

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • As a non-cognate undergrad student I felt like could have had more feedback about future prospects, i.e. HR telling me whether I would be made a graduate offer/be able to skip to interview if I go on to do a RICS masters. However, not sure whether I missed this information because I wasn't in London and feel slightly in the dark about future prospects with the company if I go onto do a RICS masters.

    3/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Again I interned in Bristol and was the only intern there which wasn't a problem at all as everyone was so welcoming/friendly and I got a long with the graduates well, but also meant I didn't actually socialise with any other interns as they were all mainly based in London. I know that in London there was probably more of a social scene amongst interns and that there were events put on specifically for interns. However, I wouldn't have changed my experience as I had a great social scene and socialising with the graduates/more senior colleagues meant that I felt like I was more valued/included in the team/office and meant that I learnt a lot in a short space of time about APC etc (basically things interns wouldn't be talking about).

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • From Bristol so living was cheap, and could walk to work.

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • 5/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Loads of opportunities; I went to a ball, a summer social, a bowling afternoon with other companies, leaving do's etc

    5/5
