  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyable experience, great people and company to work with.

  • A really fun office - everyone was always helpful and friendly. Felt like a real member of the team!

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Perfectly balanced, with some very busy weeks and others that were calmer. It was great to have a mix of in-office and out of office work as well.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • We were given amazing levels of responsibility, for example being able to lead on our ow projects, as well as having the freedom to see ideas through to completion. For example, we had a lot of responsibility organising an event in Peterborough, that we will continue to work on until the end of October.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I have already had one interview, my CV has really been pulled up to scratch and I am hoping to have more interviews as a result of this placement!

  • A lovely atmosphere, always full of help.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • We were given a clear outline of the projects we would work on, but were also invited to work on more tasks as they became apparent within the office.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We were sent on training days to London, as well as being able to learn vital office skills and presentation skills.

  • It is such a popular organisation, I would love to work there if a job came up!

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • We were always invited along to events, but as many in he office worked primarily from home, it was often not possible to travel there.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Low cost area to live as it was a student area.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Leeds as a city has a great nightlife.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • We were invited to events with the London interns, but it was not always easy to get down there. We did manage to attend an event in Westminster which was fantastic!
