About You
I enjoyed the experience of travelling to Birmingham for PwC's Talent Academy in Tax. I found it very valuable to hear about the experiences of the representatives during various sessions and the networking dinner. Everyone was very willing to share their story and background with me, which I really appreciated.
I remember one person working on student recruitment taking the time to remember by name and face, which I thought was very considerate. However, after the academy, I had sent an email in about my request to switch lines when being considered for a Summer Internship the next year to which I never received a reply.
Apart from general guidance given to everyone via presentation or via handout pack, I don't believe there was very much guidance individually.
I think I bettered my presentation skills and learned how important commercial awareness was. I did not gain any new skill or understanding.
The Company
Everyone was quite friendly
Representatives spoke at length about their personal experiences, which were all very illuminating
It helped me understand that the line I applied for was not for me
Everything Else
Yes, lots
