  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I thoroughly enjoyed the talent academy and felt it gave me a much better understanding of what my role at PwC may involve during my internship.

    • All PwC staff members that I interacted with were extremely friendly and easy to talk to making myself and others feel welcome.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • All activities were well thought out to give the best insight into the specific sector we were looking at in the limited time we had.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?

    • The atmosphere as a whole was a positive one. There was time to get to know other students on the talent academy adding to the experience, as well as time to get to know the staff members running the sessions. All of this adding to the positive experience of the two days.

    • I felt the insight gave me a good idea of some tasks I may undertake but within the limited time of only two days it is difficult to get a strong idea of what a full time role would be like.

    • Before I attended the talent academy I was not 100% sure that the path I was looking to take was the right one for me. However as a result of the academy I am more confident that I am taking the right path.

  • 11. Were you paid or reimbursed adequately for this experience?

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • We had a large number of opportunities to get to know the other students on the academy as well as networking with Partners and other employees. All of this I found very useful as there are now a number of people who are at the same stage of working for PwC as I am that I know and can contact, whilst also getting a great insight into the company from the partners and other employees at the academy.

    • I hadn't realised the high level of social activities that occurred at PwC, particularly with regards to sporting teams.

    • I thoroughly enjoyed my whole experience and have already suggested the event to friends.
