About You
I have enjoyed working with my colleagues during that period of time as they were really friendly and helpful.
Even though I was only an intern, my colleagues treated me as an employee of the firm and assign me tasks for the project.
I've received full support and guidance from my fellow colleagues regarding the future with PwC and tests/exams required to be taken in the future.
The soft skills I have gained throughout that period were useful for my future endeavors and I acknowledge that these will not be obtained in our degree studies.
The Company
The insight was structured as planned and followed closely to the information given on PwC's website so we can expect what to learn and gain from the insight.
Even though everyone was busy with their work and rushing for deadlines, they still managed to joke around and make conversations rather than solely working.
Not much of personal training and development were given due to the length of working period I was there but nonetheless, my colleagues were willing to provide support whenever needed.
My colleagues and director brought me to the meetings with clients to expose me to the nature of work if I were to work with PwC in the future. They have also assigned me tasks on the project even though I was only there for a week and hence I understand my role in the company if I were to have a full time role with the firm.
Everyone has treated me like a full time employee during my tenure and this made it easier to understand the company culture.
I understand the trainings that will be given if I were to work in the company and the personal and remarkable trainings were one of the reasons I have decided that PwC was the company to work for.
Everything Else
Yes I was paid for my tenure in PwC and the experience alone was more than adequate.
I have only met the colleagues on my team and not the rest from other departments or other teams from different projects.
There weren't any social event opportunities during my tenure and it could be because of the short period of time I was there.
I wasn't able to ask the employees regarding the activities but I'm sure there are some competitions among other Big Four, just like Big Four in other countries.
I would definitely recommend this insight to my friends as it was a useful and valuable experience to be able to work with the colleagues and understand the culture of working in this company.
