The Role
Great experience inside an investment bank. Lots of exposure. Morgan Stanley also placed a lot of emphasis on out of office events.
Great atmosphere in the obvious. Everyone respected each other and there was a huge focus on intern development.
Each intern is given an evaluation director to mentor them. Also very easy to reach out to anyone else.
Investment banking is obviously a busy job. Tons of work to get involved in and really able to make an impact.
Morgan Stanley place a lot of emphasis on making sure their juniors receive a good amount of responsibility and can learn on the job.
Internship began with a week of training that developed technical skills. Also developed both hard and soft skills throughout.
The Company
Everyone was very friendly. Great atmosphere and really supportive. Made work an absolute pleasure.
HR were excellent in putting together a very well structured internship that gave us everything we needed.
100%. Week of training at the start of the internship gave us the hard skills we needed. Received plenty of exposure on the internship.
Sports and Social Club
Company Car
International Travel
Company Parties/Events
Excellent. Received a full time job offer at the end. Also a lot of emphasis is placed on internship development.
The Culture
HR planned plenty of social events. Also plenty of opportunities to go out for drinks etc.
Living in London is obviously going to be expensive. However, it is possible to find cheap accommodation if you look hard enough.
Being in London obviously meant there were tons of clubs, bars etc. available for going out
Not so much available but given it was a ten week internship I imagine most interns wanted to spend the majority of it working.
