  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I really enjoyed my internship, it gave me an insight into audit and the way a professional firm works.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?

    • All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, joining a new team pretty much every week was nerve racking but my colleagues made me feel welcome straight away and made me feel part of the team.

    • I was able to ask lots of questions if I was struggling and I was given an appraisal manager who guided me throughout the full 6 weeks

    • My weeks were busy, it's a lot more work than university but once I got the hang of it I preferred to be busy as it meant I was getting stuck in with the job

    • I was set my own tasks and was given a lot of responsibility when completing sections of the audit on my own.
