  • An amazing opportunity to get exposed to several parts of the business, and the work I got to do was actually meaningful and interesting.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was conducive to work, so there were not too many disruptions, apart from the occasional meeting or general banter.

  • The interns are very well taken care of. The only negative was that the company took a very long time to get back too me with a confirmation of my place

  • I got to experience many parts of the business, and received much technological training as various external workshops as well.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • There are a lot of interns around, and the company makes sure that we are properly introduced, so we can take it from there. Also, there is a new employee society of over 100 members that runs regular activities.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Aberdeen is quite expensive.

  • Decent; nothing to boast about, but there is plenty to do if one looks for it.

  • There are several activities run by the company, but one must look for these opportunities.
