The Role
I found my placement interesting, challenging to an appropriate level and sociable.
I was provided meaningful work and appreciation was shown when i made a valuable contribution.
I worked autonomously but with the knowledge that if i was unsure of anything i was very much able to ask for help.
I was very busy as i put myself forward to do as much work as i could, work will not be forced upon you however if you are not proactive or engaged.
I was given a lot of responsibility once i had proven myself in the first half of my placement and was adequately trained
I gained extremely valuable experience within my chosen topic area which has allowed me to critically evaluate better academic theory in my final year
The Company
Hard working but fun
There is a formal structured program but also flexibility if there is something not included which you would like to do
The company was very keen to develop me
i will be returning
The Culture
There are small number of interns and graduates and they are spread geographically on a daily basis although there are some teambuilding days.
very reasonable
i was not particularly looking for this in my placement personally
there are some corporate social responsibility days which you can volunteer for
