  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship development programme for the UK was on point and sipportive, however in the local business I was based I had two managers and my actual line manager was mostly absent from my day to day work. It was sometimes difficult to know where and how to get support or chase progression. Apart from this well organised,

  • All the interns are given priority when applying for graduate jobs and the HR managers are friendly and provide a lot of support and communication after leaving the internship in trying to help you secure a graduate job with the company. You are not automatically given the job but you are able to skip some of initial interview process.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes the company brought all the Interns from around the UK together on three occasions. This meant whilst we were all dotted around the UK in different internal industries we were able to see each other face to face on many occasions. I loved this part of the scheme. We did various team building exercises together and workshops. Siemens spared no expenses.
