  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was just amazing. The working environment was great and there were a lot of social activities outside of work

  • They patiently answered every time I asked a question. They were a really great team

  • Internship programme managers were always there to help us and find solutions to our problems

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Half of the time, I was waiting on my computer to do stuff. Please give better laptops.

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • We were given the responsibility to write good code, but moving that code over to production was done by our team engineers because you shouldn't trust an intern to do that! The level of responsibility was just enough for an intern.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I've learnt a lot actually. Many new frameworks and programming language techniques. However, the important bit is about the people I've met and the connections I've made from that.

  • basically, fun & coding never stopped. GO CPBM!

  • The desks and the monitors were good, but again, please give better laptops.

  • They literally did everything they could.

  • I'm seriously considering it. I think it was a great place to work in. But I want to see Silicon Valley first.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • The hat of Shame :)

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • 332£ per month for rent and 150£ for food and drinks. Salary was enough to cover it all.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Brighton is famous for being the largest LGBT city in England. Yes, the nightlife was pretty good.
