The Role
i truly enjoyed my internship as i did not feel like just an intern but a valued member of staff and i was also given a lot of responsibilities as i was involved in several projects which i was able to see come to pass and be very successful in my time in the business.
I felt very valued by my colleagues and i was not overlooked and my contributions and opinions were always valued.
i was really supported by management and really integrated into the business an taught a lot of valuable skills that was necessary for all tasks i was given.
Due to having different task and being a part of several projects i was vert busy on most days, and i loved it.
i was given a lot of responsibility especially since i sometimes had to work on projects on my own to produce great results.
Greatly as i can take certain skills such as multitasking and time management to help me achieve greatly in my final year. Working for the global brands sector of Boots was very great as i study international business and can use the knowledge gained to contextualise what i am thought.
The Company
The office atmosphere was great and everyone was always in high spirits. the radio was always on which added an extra vibe to the office.
The internship was very well organised and the individuals in charge of everything always ensured everything run smoothly for all interns.
The company invested a lot in me ensuring that i was equipped with resources and information that did not just benefit my role but life in general and that i could develop on and use it as a base to better myself and skills.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Working from home
it is very appealing as i have grown to believe that it is very important to love the job that you do as well as believe in the companies values and ethics and i truly like that off Boots.
The Culture
yes there was a good social scene as everyone tried to be very inclusive and invite me out for work drinks as well as eating lunch with them.
it was not that expensive as we had most of our socialising events in the office and i was living at home
the nightlife was great as the office was situated near camden which has a lot of prominent clubs and bars,
no not really but i am sure if there was and i had asked to get involved i would have been completely allowed too and not denied.
