  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my internship and was made to feel very welcome and integrated well into the team.

  • I felt very valued by my colleagues and made to feel like a part of the team.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Management was good at handing us over to supervisory engineers who then gave tasks.

  • I was mostly busy however a few days were I didn't have much to do at all.

  • Some esponsibility but not directly responsible for any outcomes.

  • I am yet to begin my next year of studies after the internship however I have learnt a lot of skills I didn't have previously

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Really great place to work. Lots of smiles and welcoming people.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Initially not a great set up but as it went along and with some pushing form my part it started to take shape.

  • Had some training and a lot of one on one help.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • Quite appealing. There is an opportunity for sponsorship and to be progressed through the company.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes. Very good social scene amongst interns. Though we mainly forged that ourselves. There is also a grad and intern society.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Quite reasonable. Ranges from approximately £300 to £500 depending on your location.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Pretty good. A variety of pubs and bars. And clubs.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • With working hours being quite good there was quite the opportunity to do a lot outside work.
