  • This question was easy!

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • The support and guidance I recieved during the summer defined what good support and guidance should be for me. Absolutely fantastic.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I don't understand this scale? I was very busy, all the time, but I employed a good work hard play hard attitude and it was perfect, and balanced. Wouldn't have had it any other way.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • After 3 weeks I was fast-tracked and given the oppurtunity to lead my own team, which was a hugely rewarding challenge.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Skills for life; simple as that.

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • It was hilarious most of the time.

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Always organised, but not quite seamless, there was always an air of young dynamism, but I enjoyed that.

    4/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • There is nothing that they invested in more, support was available, insightful and has developed me more than I thought it could have done. Absolutely fantastic.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Flexi Time

    Company Car

    Financial Bonus

    Company Parties/Events

    4/5

    5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Yes! Walkabout! Sunday night!

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Birmingham is pretty cheap compared to Oxford....

    5/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • Not sure we really caught the best of it, we only really went out on Sunday nights, to Walkabout. But that wasn't really the point, it was great fun and they sell cheap Jagerbeakers

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • A few of us joined the gym, which was good fun in the mornings, we also played rounders a few times, went go-karting, had a day of paintball. There was enough fun to be getting on with!

    4/5
