The Role
I enjoyed my internship. I was able to pick up invaluable skills as well as gain an insight into what into what it's like to work in the technology industry.
I felt valued by my colleagues as they were receptive to my input and were open to getting involved in my project.
I was well supported throughout my internship. My colleagues were always willing to give me a hand when needed despite their busy schedules.
My busyness varied throughout the internship. The start of the internship being relatively busy but my days got a lot busier towards the middle of the internship with things slowing down towards the end.
I had the freedom to implement the project the way I liked (while following the recommended guidelines such as programming languages/frameworks). This pushed me to think a lot deeper about decisions I made throughout the project.
Throughout my internship, I developed my problem-solving skills & communication skills. The project I was given required me to learn new technology and programming languages - all of which would benefit me in my studies and my professional career
