The Role
I really enjoyed the work during my placement. There was plenty of challenging tasks set.
The team made me feel very valued, offering lots of valuable feedback and advice throughout the internship.
The guidance system at Willis Towers Watson was extremely good. We were assigned line managers, team buddies and graduate buddies. Each one of these individuals made an asserted effort to make sure we knew what work to do and would constantly ask how it was going. They also took the time to introduce me to a number of different people throughout the organisation.
I was very busy on a daily basis both with project work which extended throughout the eight week internship but also with the day to day tasks set by my team. I was never twiddling my thumbs.
A lot. The work that I completed will be used by Willis for client meetings and throughout the organisation.
There were a number of presentation skill sessions, which will definitely help with presentations at uni. My capabilities using Excel have also improved massively.
The Company

Expensive, bars around the city are not cheap
Good bars, few clubs though
yes, I played netball for WTW and I know a number of other interns played football and rugby
