  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • This internship has been a fantastic opportunity and so much fun.

  • Sometimes being on an internship, not everyone will listen to your opinion but at M&S, colleagues are more than happy to hear your view and value the "fresh views".

  • Whenever support was needed it was provided,not only by my manager but the whole team.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was occupied every day, as the project I was asigned required a large amount of consistent work. Throughout and at the end of the project was finished, I was included in a variety of other projects running, this included training and being invloved with stocktake.

  • I was given alot of responsibiltiy as the asigned projects had direct influence on stores

  • M&S has granted the opportuntiy to develop and enhance so many skills as well as ones I never even considered. The training which they offered was fantastic, from the content to the facilators,

  • Really happy, friendly and helpfull A great atmosphere to work in!

  • It was well organised even more so considering that they never had an intern of the floor before.

  • M&S I felt invested alot into interns, especially the training they provided

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • There are a vast numer opportunties and job roles to choose from. It is relatively easy to transfer from one section to another.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • As there was a group of interns, we all went to the same induction day and training courses. From this, every other week we would meet up for drinks.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Due to being based in london, it was the expected slightly higher costs but was not as high as I expected

  • The nightlife was fantastic as there is always something going on which is not too far away.

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • There is more than enough oppportunites to get involved in. The only difficulty is that 2 months is not quite long enough to get involved in everything
