About You
The placement was an extremely good and insightful experience in getting to know more about the company. The colleagues at Boots were really helpful and made our time at boots an enjoying and insightful one. In specific the internal communications made our task really interesting and easy to understand and they helped us on all steps of the experience.
We felt extremely valued and as part of the team. A really good thing about working with boots is the office environment and that everyone seems so friendly and helpful. This just made our task so much easier as we felt really comfortable talking to everyone on the team. Furthermore we recipe bed extremely helpful and informative comments on our work that made us feel appreciated.
In simple words a lot! The internal communications and HR team at boots were really helpful in answering any queries or questions that we had. We felt a part of the team and this made us perform and conduct research even better than before. As the environment of the office is quite open we could easily ask questions to the colleagues at any given time and st all times they were extremely helpful.
Although I have just completed my psychology degree and this experience / task was completely different to my existing degree I feel that I acquired a numerous range of skills that vary from both verbal and written communication, research, market research, an insight into the business world etc. All in all the experience has been a useful and informative learning opportunity
The Company
Although initially we felt that we didn't know much about the insight and that the task wasn't well structured after meeting with the internal comms manager we reviewed a brand new insight into the task and this was really helpful in performing our very best on the task. As the staff was all extremely helpful in answering any gaps in our understanding of the task I would say that it was an almost seamless structure.
The general atmosphere was amazing. As mentioned before all staff and colleagues were extremely helpful and understanding of our task. They were available at any time we had any questions and always really informative. They treated us as part of the team and made our time at boots a really good one. Wouldn't stay 'fun never stopped' but really good experience overall.
We received a lot of information and insight into the task. I wouldn't say personal training and development as such as my course/degree was not at all related to the business environment, it would provide a good insight into the business world and a really informative perception into boots. All in all the experience was good and valuable.
A really open and friendly environment at boots. We spoke to former graduates and got to know a lot about their insights on working at boots through the graduate schemes and this was procided a really useful and helpful view on what it would be like to work at boots. We also worked closely with the internal comms team and got an insight working there as well.
We got to find a lot about the company culture by conducted research in both the office and boots staff. We spoke to a lot of different people and found out their views on working at boots. Furthermore working in the the head office we figured out a lot about the office environment which was extremely friendly and nice.
We got to find a lot about the internal communications team and this provided a new insight. I wouldn't say we got a whole new insight in working at boots as we only worked closely with one team and If we had worked with more people we would have had more knowledge on the different career paths that stem from working at boots. Overall a good experience I. Getting more knowledge in the business sector.
Everything Else
