    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I learned a great deal during this internship, it was challenging in that dealing with an Enterprise system, is something that is not taught at university.

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • The team I was part of was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful, I got regular feedback and enjoyed working with them.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Like any good manager mine had a great deal of responsibility, but he still took the time to sit down, have a brief chat about the status of my project and kept me informed of my progress and areas where I needed to tweak my work.

    4/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • While there were times I had to work on some side projects, my time with the company was very filled.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was given some degree of creative freedom and direction on how I was supposed to proceed, but not so much that I could say I was running the show.

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • I've been given a brief glimpse of the corporate world, and what a real Enterprise Tech team is like. The work I've done, the mentality I 've developed, the mistakes I've made, all of these are going to benefit me greatly in the future.

    5/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • The atmosphere was lively and friendly, people got up and talked, discussed work and how life was going.

    4/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • The internship had a very nice and clear defined structure, there were properly spaced reviews to give us a more detailed idea on how we were doing. The other meetings we had as an intern team also served us well in gaining a larger corporate perspective on the business as a whole.
