  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I really enjoyed my internship. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the first day throughout.

  • Felt highly valued by my colleagues, despite having very limited knowledge when starting.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Was given good support from both my People Manager and Buddy. However, even buddys in other departments were so helpful and supportive.

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • If I had an assigned task I was busy for the entire day. However because of the time of my internship there wasn't much work to be completed and many people were on holiday - therefore some days I did not have much assigned work.

  • I was given a high level of responsibility during my placement.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • Gave me practical skills to support the theoretical knowledge I knew from University. Gave me insight into a career within Audit and Tax, helped confirm it was what I wanted to do once I left University.

  • very welcoming and relaxed.

  • Got a range of training in different areas to improve knowledge.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Social scene was good - made better by events such as the Welcome event in London, with all the interns in the UK.
