  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • Excellently run scheme overall, very engaging in terms of seeing how the firm runs - bot on occasion and depending on which department placed in there were certain lulls in business.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • Everyone exceptionally friendly, made huge allowances for us - even senior partners taking time out to talk to vac schemers - real awareness of our presence and attempt to help us make the most of it

    • Really good system of weekly feedback sheets - excellent way to gauge how you're doing and receive constructive feedback

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • Generally helpful in seeing how law firm functions - but no more helpful than expected when at this point many people already know much of what they need to

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Again, very well thought out in totality, from the induction to the moving of seats and the socials - only thing lacking structure (perhaps of necessity) was the work itself, but probably for the best in all honesty

    • Incredibly friendly and open - but also a realistic approach to work - it wasnt all fun fun fun and I think that's for the best - working in law is tough and the work reflected that - but in the best way possible

    • Light touch in terms of hours - but the work was the hardest they could find

    • £275 per week

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Absolutely - very much encouraged to go and meet members not in our own departments, plus trainees made special effort to speak to us

    • Top notch - even got to go to their summer bash, which was both lucky and fabulously fun

    • Not me personally, but other members played softball, football etc
