  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I really enjoyed the week, getting to see what really happens in a corporate team and trying my hand at some of it myself

    • Not being legally trained, there wasn't always much I could do that was helpful, however they still made an effort to make my work feel valued which was very kind!

    • There was never a time when people were unwilling to offer a helping hand or go through and explain things, I always felt well guided.

    • It helps me to see how a law degree is actually used when practicing law, the skills and analytical approach developed are very important.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Perhaps could have a little more structure because there were times when I didn't know what I should be doing and when, however personal time management was developed through this!

    • Fantastic, everybody was so friendly and willing to share experiences

    • They really strongly did, in terms of time given by individuals and resources

    • it was very insightful, I felt like I had completed a proper working week

    • It was extremely helpful, I really managed to get a feel for the open and friendly culture

    • I was able to see how exactly corporate matters are resolved, through planning in the meeting rooms to filling out forms

    • the pay was more than adequate!

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Many came to my networking lunch buffet which was really pleasantly surprising, they were all so willing to find out about me and share their experiences!

    • definitely, it really helped to see what work within a large national firm consists of. It also allowed me to engage with the culture in a way that could not be done on paper.
