The Role
Overall it was a fantastic year with some really good times but also some not so good. this was purely down to the relationship held with your line manager, I worked on different teams and had an all together different experience on each. The office vibe is really great, everyone is very social and loves to go out together.
I felt hugely valued throughout the year and was never made to feel that my opinion didn't matter. Although you have an intern title you are never made to feel that way.
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances there was no guidance at all with little help as there was no manager present however when on a new team this greatly improved. again this depends on the relationship with your manager and some work much better that others.
Work flow varies depending on projects and what is going on at the time but the work flow always seemed manageable and there were always people on hand to help.
I was given a lot of responsibility on placement and felt like an integral part of the team at all times and was never made to feel like my opinion wasn't as good as anyone elses
Working at ASOS has put into practise everything and more I have learnt at uni ad was a great starting point for my career
The Company
Really good fun, music playing all the times, office games and a really social atmosphere
As there was no manager present in the beginning months the start felt very organised and i regularly had to give myself tasks to complete due to lack of 121 meetings however being thrown in at the deep end made me learn a lot faster
I was allowed to complete all train courses that other perminent members of staff completes including trips to testing houses and over night stays to complete fitting projects
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Above 25 days holiday

I would like to return to ASOS after graduation
The Culture
Everyone at ASOS is very social so it is easier to socialise with your team but all interns remain friends too

Always somehting going on - really fun
A lot of socialising and also sporting teams are available. It is very easy to make good friends here
