The Role
I have loved my time at ASOS, you are not made to feel like and intern at all and are made to feel part of the team and involoved of every part of day to day working life.
My colleugues have been great. they have helped my to learn all the skills needed to be a Buyers admin assistant. my team and positive and exciting to work with making the working life experience even better.
We are given mentors and have regular catch up meeting with your manager to wok on your development whilst at ASOS.
ASOS is a very fast paced company to work for so i was very busy on a daily basis.
i was given the full responsibility as a BAA whilst on my placement like any other full time member of staff.
it was alot of 'on the job' training learning as you with the oppotunity to book onto training sessions when they are needed.
The Company
The office is a great environment to work in, everyone is so passionate about the product and wants to see the company succeed, it's really motivating.
It was really well organised, there was good communication straight from the accepting the job. I never felt like I had to wait for information on any aspect .
As I buyers assistant the training was heavily 'on the job, which is the best way as you feel you get stuck in from day one. There is online training for key systems that are used and training sessions that interns are allowed to book onto making you feel like you are just like any other employee in the business. However, there was no intern specific training but I know that is changing for the next cohort.

Very appealing. I have lovely my time at Asos and have luckily been offered a job after finishing my university degree .
The Culture
The social side of Asos is amazing. There are Friday beers the last Friday of every month with different themes, department socials like a Halloween party and picnic, strategy day which is held the the Leicester Square odeon and drinks after. Asos also are well known for the summer and Christmas parties which were both amazing! There so much to get involved in, it's great!
Camden was a great place to work! It's a 5 minuite walk to the high street which is full of shops, bars and restraunts which makes socialising after work great!
Camden is well know for its nightlife with bars and pubs less all around the head office.
I didn't get the oppotunity but I know there are charity days people could get involved in.
