The Role

Role Description

I worked for 6 weeks on Fixed Income Structuring and Repackaging. I ran the daily reports for my desk and also helped out with any smaller jobs that needed to be done. At the same time my longer term project was to create a set of marketing material for one of the products on the desk. This involved writing five presentations for the different types of products as well as creating an excel based pricing and forecasting model.

1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

Once I was settled on a desk it was very good, however the first 3-4 weeks involved a lot of movement around different desks, and although this was helpful it lasted probably too long.
