  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • It was the best year of my life so far in both a professional and personal sense, i enjoyed it more than i ever expected.

  • I felt very valued, and appreciated. They made me feel like an integral part of the team from day one all the way through until the end

  • My managers never-ending support and encouragement was constant and really kept me motivated, and helped me to improve

  • My time at Intel involved multitude of projects, events etc. so my days were filled, in the best way possible

  • You are made to feel like a full-time employee rather than 'just an intern' with real responsibilities

  • The skills I've learnt and the friends, improvements and growth that i've made both personally and professionally will help me in all aspects of my future

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • I loved being in the office - everyone was really friendly, and everyone gets on really well which makes it a relaxed, calming and fun atmosphere.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I was always encouraged to take part in trainings to develop my skills, and required training had to be completed on a regular basis. I had meetings with my manager on a weekly basis where feedback was given and areas to improve on etc. were discussed, ensuring I kept learning and improving.

  • A future job within Intel is a very exciting and sought-after prospect; i'd be ecstatic and grateful to have the opportunity to return.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • we are like a family - always there for each other, planned days/nights out etc.

  • Average, affordable, reasonable

  • Slightly poor, but it was okay because the 40+ interns made it good!

  • YES. Sports and social clubs for after work, things to do in the area etc.
