    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I was able to work in all aspects of the business - and once I found which area I wanted to concentrate in I was given responsibility and was mentored by welcoming experienced professionals.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Not just the people that worked in my department were welcoming - the entire office gave me a genuine feeling of inclusion.

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • It was amazing how much I was able to talk to and learn from top management at the company. From lunches to feeling comfortable asking question - I was able to learn so much.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • Obviously when you start an internship, you are in an invironment that is completely new and you have no grasp on the way business and a lot of other things work. So, there was a short time where was given small tasks and research assignments in the beginning - but in the end it was worth it because for the majority of my time I had real assignments with actual responsibility. I was only able to this because I got to know how the company ran at the start.

    5/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • I was in charge of creating the country wide and company wide newsletter - including editing, and correspondence. I was involved in external meetings, research and due dilligence on prospective projects and project development. They took care in training me - so the responsibility was not overwhelming, it was exciting.

    5/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • After leaving my internship at Enterprise I have started interviewing for paid positions in the working world, and I can already see that what I learned during my time there - in every aspect of working for a company and just being in a professional office - is evident in the way I conduct myself, how I think, and what I say. It has made me all around a more valuable and attractive candidate.

    5/5
