  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
  • My time at Rothschild was fantastic. The HR team put together an action packed programme which was the perfect balance between project work, work shadowing and learning about the bank. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and everyone in the office made me feel very welcome. It is certainly somewhere I recommend applying!

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?
  • I felt like the work I was set was proper work which I benefited from, I also found that the analysts we shadowed felt more then happy to talk to us so in that regard I did feel valued.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?
  • Enough. We were helped when we needed help but were given enough material that ensured we could get on with it ourselves. The presentations given were a very good information platform.

  • Significantly. I certainly feel my understanding of the industry has improved.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?
  • Very. It was an action-packed week which was the ideal balance for any insight programme.

  • 6. How was the general atmosphere during your insight?
  • Very warm and friendly, particularly the HR team but even those employees in the lift and the analysts who we encountered. We were taken out for Coffee by analysts which showed their warm nature.

  • Helped us learn presentation skills during a work shop which reiterates the investment in us.

  • As much as it could given I was there for only a week.

  • A lot, generated an appreciate for the warm and inclusive culture of the bank.

  • Very, the presentations were highly informative

  • Yes plenty.

  • Great. Put on drinks for the interns, tea with directors, lunch with analysts and more
