  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • A fantastic, insightful few days in London experiencing life at a City Law firm.

    • I especially felt valued whilst working with Aldo in the Banking department throughout the second day.

    • Invaluable guidance received during the 'Applications and Timeline' session on day one.

    • The two day event wasn't particularly long enough to developing too many skills. However, the negotiation session was useful and these skills will inevitably prove useful throughout my final year at University.

    • Very well structured and well organised.

    • Great atmosphere, especially during the evening event!

    • The event spent time to go through my future career path and dedicated a session to 'Timeline and Applications' which I found very useful for my own personal development.

    • The event was eye-opening. It was especially great to find out more about the training opportunities available for trainees at the firm.

  • 10. How valuable was the content in helping you to decide on your future career path?

    • Very valuable! Before the event, I was unsure which few areas of practice I wanted to focus my efforts towards. After the event, especially after lunch with the associates, I am motivated to experience life in a Corporate department as I believe it perfectly suits both my personality and aspirations! I was also unsure about whether or not training at a City law firm was the right career path for me - after the event, I definitely believe it is just for me!

  • 12. Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees of the company or firm?

    • Plenty of opportunities to meet other employees, both trainees and associates at both an evening social and lunch respectively.

  • 13. How were the networking/ social event opportunities?

    • Great opportunities. The social evening allowed me to network with trainees both on a social and professional level. The lunch with associates also allowed me to appreciate the professional experience of corporate lawyers and gain valued answers to many, many questions!

  • 14. Did you find out about activities that employees can get involved in outside of work?

    • Yes, I did find out about a few activities available and was particularly interested to hear the firm had an open water/triathlon team! However, I do not believe this was the main focus of the event. I did find out plenty of information surrounding more relevant training opportunities available to trainees at the firm.

    • Absolutely! Especially fellow non-law undergraduates!
