The Role
Long hours, lots of stress, but learned a lot.
As a person, to a very high extent - people are friendly and there is a good team culture. As a colleague - yes, with the exception of being taken for granted when doing overtime.
Everyone is always happy to help.
There were days in which I wasn't so busy and days in which it was absolutely hectic.
A lot, it is good that we get hands on exp right from the start
I was lucky enough to end up in a good project but unfortunately lots of the placement students I know did not get to do what they wanted and either did testing or admin work, which have almost nothing to do with what we are studying. Personally, I worked in a Web Development team and was happy with what I learned there.
The Company
Friendly and stressful at the same time.
Difficult to find a project to do what you want to do and it's a placement after all, that's the whole point of it.
There is quite a lot of training available.

Working from home
I think it's good as a starting position but I would probably move on to another company eventually.
The Culture
Expensive.
