The Role
The placement really depends on the projects you end up in. Accenture always tends to have interesting projects going on. Team chemistry and working environment are also contributing factors.
At Accenture, people are very friendly and helpful. You just need to speak up and ask.
Make sure that you ask for more when you feel like you can handle it. But before you do, let your work do the talking. Prove that you can handle responsibility.
The most important skills that I have developed would be personal skills. These are to me way more important than professional skills as every project/company requires different skills. Despite this, have picked up a lot of professional skills that can be applied elsewhere
The Company
The atmosphere at Accenture is very comfortable and relaxed. People are extremely friendly and smiling. I think this really goes back to the networking attitude that people have. However, as this is a consulting firm, the atmosphere at a client office could vary so you must be able to adapt to that.
I expected it to be a little bit more organised particularly because during my first weeks I was not assigned a project. Instead I had to find one on my own. I think this is partly because the business demand during the period I joined was a bit low.
Accenture knows that consulting is a people's business and they invest a lot. I remember attending 3-4 sessions given by Bianca Miller from The apprentice about personal development and image.

Accenture is always actively looking for talent. The recruitment process is quite lengthy but worth it. It is very important to be yourself. The company cares a lot about personality and being client ready.
The Culture
The recruitment team hosted placement students' drinks and socials at least every month. Also, the placement students frequently have lunch at Accenture's Café or share a desk when working from the head office. Networking is key and placement students understood that well so acted accordingly.
Really expensive, however a lot of company events.
its LONDON Baby !!!!
Accenture has charity days, sport days and clubs and societies. IT really depends on your choice. However there will always be something going on.
