The Role
I really enjoyed the work I was given and it was nice to use skills developed from my university course
They made me feel like a member of the team and treated me equally with the rest of the staff
Sometimes it was hard to get hold of my manager but I was able to confront him with any problems
Sometimes there was inventory work which kept me very busy, particularly in peak employment seasons like in the new year
I had my own reports to manage and other responsibilites with interviewing candidates
I enhanced my skills by taking IT training courses on sit
The Company
There was a good work/life balance. Everyone was friendly to me and others.
Although this is the first year my placement has run, it went very well and I'm sure it'll improve for the next candidate a lot.
The company knew that I had the correct skills and developed them further so that I was even better at my work.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
I'd love to go back in the future. I think their prospects are extremely appealing.
The Culture
Graduates socialised with me as well as other employees, overall, great fun
Expensive, but some flats were a lot more expensive again!
Fantastic nightlife, I partied on a regular basis, and all the other students seemed to do the same!
I went to lots of shows with work (e.g. theatre), for free.
